Alessandro Baricco
Alessandro Baricco, born in 1958, is one of the most famous Italian fiction writers. He collaborated with leading Italian newspapers as classical music critic and hosted TV talk shows focused on cultural journalism. In the nineties Mr. Baricco published quite a few successful books, among them Legend of 1900 which was a base for a movie by Giuseppe Tornatore starring Tim Roth. A playwright himself, he also founded the creative writing school Scuola Holden in Turin, Italy.
