Alicia Ostriker is a poet and critic, twice a National Book Award finalist,
winner of the William Carlos Williams Prize, the San Francisco Poetry Center
Award, and the Paterson Poetry Prize, among others.
Her most recent volume of poetry is NO HEAVEN (University of
Pittsburgh Press, 2005). She is professor emerita of English at Rutgers
University, and teaches in the low-residency MFA program of New England
College.
