Cyril Wong is the author of five collections of poetry, winner of the
2005 Young Artist Award for Literature in Singapore and joint winner of
the 2006 Singapore Literature Prize. Internationally, his Pushcart-nominated
poems have appeared in Atlanta Review, Poetry International, Fulcrum,
Cider Press Review, among others. He was a featured poet at the Edinburgh
International Book Festival (UK), the Hong Kong International Literary
Festival, the Austin International Poetry Festival (USA), the Queensland
Poetry Festival (Australia) and the Singapore Writers' Festival. He is
the founder and co-editor of Softblow, an international poetry journal
online. He has won an NAC-SPH Golden Point Award, a Potent Prose Ax Prize,
and he is also a recipient of grants from the National Arts Council, the
British Council, Lee Foundation and Singapore International Foundation.
