Christopher Rådlund born in 1970 and raised in Gothenburg. Live
and
work in Oslo, Norway, since 1995. Starting higher art-studies in 1988
at the Department of Arts and Crafts at Gothenburg University,
ending in 1998 in Oslo at The Academy of fine arts - Departement of
figurative painting.
Rådlund early decided to distace himself from the dogmatic
avant-gardism and instead to follow the old masters of classical
painting. From then with german-scandinavian romanticism as a
artistic and cultural basis.Wishing for the revitalising of
traditional painting through a poetic consciousness of time and
existence. |
