Dipak Mazumdar was born in the thirties in Mumensingh, India
(now Bangladesh).
He has published eight volumes of poems. His latest, Dionysos
and Other Poems, have appeared in 2015.

including Artes and Lyrikvännen.
In 2008 Dipak Mazumdar was awarded De Vylder Prize for
his
book of poems I have peeled this orange before.
