Eva Claeson is a translator of Swedish, who after 30 years in Europe
now lives north of Amherst, Massachusetts, U.S.A. In 1992, she co-founded
Metamorphoses, the literary translation journal. To Catch Life
Anew: 10 Swedish Women Poets, a bilingual edition with the original
Swedish poems and Eva Claeson’s English translations, was published by
Oyster River Press in 2006. The book includes work by Sonia Åkesson,
Kristina Lugn and Marie Lundquist.
