Jurek Holzer was born 1947 in Warsaw, Poland. Studied english and russian
at the university. Lives in Sweden since 1969. Studied photojournalism
and graphic design in Stockholm. Photographer at Svenska Dagbladet
(The Swedish Daily) since 1982. Has done war photography in both Bosnia
and Chechnia. Covered the unification of Germany as well as the overthrowing
of the Ceaucescu regime in Rumania. Numerous assignments in both Poland
and Russia covering all kinds of aspects of life there. Has specialized
in food and art photography in between those assignments.
