LUCIA NEGRO is one of Sweden’s most highly acclaimed pianists, appearing
often on radio and television. As a piano soloist she has collaborated
with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Kyrill Kondrashin, Rafael Kubelik,
Esa-Pekka Salonen and Leif Segerstam. She performs as a piano soloist with
orchestras, gives solo piano recitals and often plays in chamber music
contexts. She also serves as a pianist with the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Music and has made over
twenty music recordings, most recently the Goldberg Variations by J.
S. Bach which was released in autumn 2008.
