Marie Lundquist was born in 1950 in Jönköping, Sweden. The
winner of several Nordic literary prizes, she has published six volumes
of poetry and prose poetry, of which the most recent is En Enkel Berättelse
(Bonniers, 2002). Lundquist has taught composition courses for both
children and adults at the writing school Biskops-Arnö, and is a contributing
editor to the literary magazine Ordfront.
