Mimi White have been writing poems for thirty years. She have published
two chapbooks, Into The Darkness We Go and The Singed Horizon,
the winner of the Philbrick Poetry Award in 2000. Robert Creeley was the
judge and she had the honor of reading with him at the award ceremonies.
Her poems have been published in several journals which include Poetry,
Harvard Review, West Branch, Kestrel and Hanging Loose. For the past
thirty years she have worked as a visiting poet at universities, public
schools, prisons, nursing homes and libraries.
