NASA PATAPIOU was born in Rizokarpasso, Cyprus. She is a poet and works
as a historian researcher at the Cyprus Research Centre. In 1988 she was
awarded the 1st prise for poetry by the Ministry of Education and Culture
of Cyprus. In 2001 she was awarded a prize by the Academy of Athens as
a historian. From February 2000 until 2005 she served with the Cyprus Embassy
in Athens as a Cultural Attaché and as the director of the House
of Cyprus.
