Paul Quenon

Brother Paul Quenon entered the Abbey of Gethsemani, a Trappist monastery in Kentucky, in 1958. He was a novice under Thomas Merton, and is now cook and Cantor. He has two books of poetry, Terrors of Paradise, and Laughter, My Purgatory published by Black Moss Press in Windsor Ontario. He is preparing a book of photographs and poems: Monkswear, with Black Moss Press. He co-edited an anthology of poems with John B. Lee, Smaller than God (Black Moss Press), and a monastic literary anthology: Monkscript with Fons Vitae,
Louisville, Ky. 
Brother Paul Quenon began his photography work while at a Trappist monastery in Nigeria. He has had shows in Vancouver, Chicago, Windsor Ontario, Louisville, and soon in Fort Worth.
